Thallus green to yellowish, smooth. Ascomata largely immersed in the thallus. Pseudostromata not raised, inconspicuous. Hamathecium inspersed. Ascospores 7–9-septate, 40–50 × 8–12 μm. CHEMISTRY: Thallus UV+ yellow; containing lichexanthone (or 1,8-dihydroxy-3,6-dimethoxy-xanthone). |

Corticolous in rainforest in north-eastern Qld. Palaeotropical, especially in lowland forest. | ||
